BRMC FTW
I like to pretend that Howl as an album does not exist to marr the otherwise excellent record of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. It is a denial that seems to work well for me, and it is made especially easy by the fact I dug the shit out of Baby 81 and its chronology acts in part to take some of the pain away.
Things like this, taken from the BRMC MySpace, also make it possible to ignore the waning mistakes of yesteryear:
After the band’s first ever headline show in Santiago, Chile this past Friday night, Robert Been took to the streets with his guitar and climbed a parked car to play “Sympathetic Noose” for the crowd as they were leaving the show.
Video footage:
That is endearing.
